Textured Character

Just completed this model for a client. Model, Uv's and textured by me and my wife. Lite and rendered in Marmoset tool bag. Textured in photoshop and Mudbox.

Game Model - 1950s Filling Station Pump


A low poly model of a 1950s Filling Station pump. This is just the a quick Normal Map and Ambient Occlusion map render test. Modeled and UV mapped in Luxology's Modo. Rendered in 8 Monkey Lab's Marmoset. Color and Specs Maps coming soon.

CTN Expo

Attended the CTN Expo. Gentle Giants booth was amazing, saw & met a lot of viz dev artist & animators, the panels were all great, learned a few new processes for Zbrush. Pick up some techniques for traditional sculpting also. I have a couple of themes I would like to explore as a subject matter. Can't wait.

Also caught a cold. All but one person from our studio got sick while attending. That damn California winter!

CTN expo 2011

Wife and I will be attending the CTN expo out in Burbank CA in a few days. Looking forward to it. While out in Cali, have business with the other members of Navinod Lighthouse.

Modo 501 Release & Test Renders

A few weeks back my favorite modeling package was updated, Modo 501. I still have not fully explored all of the new feature, but I will soon. I have however produced a few test renders, playing with generating AOs and global illumination.



I am also including a Marmoset Render.

Character sculpt 1 - WIP

Digital sculpt from one of my thumbnail sketches. Head was block out in Mudbox, detailed in Zbrush, and re-topped in Topogun. Will update more of the character in the weeks to come. Looking forward to completing the rest of the body and props for this character.
